Across the world, people experienced meltdowns during the lockdown.
For some, it showed up early on while for some others, it showed up later on like early/mid 2021.
As we mark the 2021 World Mental Health Day, there’s a call to the world to remember that what we currently see is an unequal world.
Little or poor financing of mental health
In a short clip done by WHO, people across the world shared their stories around mental health during and even post COVID.
Why did we share?
For several reasons.
For me—-
1. it’s to remind you that no one is immune to a mental health crisis.
2. That help is available but you have to seek it.
3. That professionals exist to help you go through that phase
4. Your healing begins and ends with you.
